Esplugues Urban Agenda
The Esplugues Urban Agenda 2030 (AUE2030) is the municipal action roadmap that sets the city's strategy up to 2030. The goal is to implement urban development policies that are socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable , while also contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Esplugues aims to be an intelligent and sustainable city, focused on its citizens, with quality public services and decisions based on data, innovation, and participation.
The "Esplugues Safe City" strategy seeks to improve safety and coexistence through a Community Police force, neighborhood participation, the use of technology, new regulations, and collaboration with the Generalitat (Catalan Government).
"Esplugues Sustainable City" promotes balanced urban growth with sustainable mobility, quality public spaces, climate resilience, and innovative projects. This is done following the values of sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusion.
"Esplugues City of Opportunities" aims to drive sustainable economic development, fostering employment, innovation, tourism, and cultural heritage.
"Esplugues City of Rights" seeks to ensure social justice, inclusion, and equality, with policies against poverty and in favor of human rights.
"Esplugues Healthy City" promotes health, well-being, and a full life in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
